By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using MechEngAta-Finance, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2Service Description

MechEngAta-Finance is a personal finance management platform that helps you track income, expenses, budgets, assets, debts, and financial goals. Optional features include AI-generated insights and integration with Google Calendar, Drive, and Gmail.

The service is provided free of charge with optional premium plans. Feature availability may vary based on your plan and current service availability.

3User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must notify us immediately upon any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4Acceptable Use

• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to probe or test the vulnerability of the service or its infrastructure.

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service.

• We do not provide investment, tax, legal, or any other professional advice.
• All data, calculations, and insights are for informational purposes only.
• You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
• Consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.
• Past performance and projections do not guarantee future results.

6AI-Generated Content

Our AI features provide suggestions and summaries based on your data. AI outputs:

• May not always be accurate, complete, or up to date.
• Should not be treated as professional financial advice.
• Are generated by automated systems without human review.
• Should be independently verified before acting upon them.

7Intellectual Property

• The service, its design, code, features, branding, and content are owned by Atakan Durmaz and protected by intellectual property laws.
• You retain ownership of the financial data you input into the service.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide the service.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of our service or its content without written permission.

8Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

9Subscription and Payments

Free tier features are provided at no charge. Paid plans (if offered) are billed according to the pricing presented at the time of purchase. Refunds are handled per our refund policy, available on request.

10Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where legal retention is required.
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability).

11Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total cumulative liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

15Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
